Today is one of my bad days. It started yesterday where I could barely move my neck from the pain and my left knee kept trying to give out. Today is much worse. My whole body aches. Following my doctor’s advice I need to exercise as part of my pain management. I’m also lazy so I find myself only exercising on my bad days. Today I decided to combine two needs.
Exercising and recovering my son’s desk chair.
My mom and I bought the children’s desk and chair when I was about my son’s age and I helped her strip it and stain it.
If you’ve never recovered furniture let me tell you it’s a workout. Even with me sitting on the floor it left my arms pleasantly sore and stretched out. Even my back is less tense from leaning over the cushion.
The picture with the black cover is the old one and the bugs is the new one. The bugs are so bright it hurts my eyes and I’m really glad I never used the fabric for a pair of pants like my son wanted. 😉
