In my attempt at making a snowflake shawl I came across some rather lovely patterns on Ravelry. The same name kept popping up as the source: Snowcatcher. One of the beauties she designed involved beads. Now since I need them for a shawl I left out the beads and the chain that secures the beads in place. Other than that I left the pattern alone. While the result is beautiful I really should learn to read the approximate finish size! Much too large for my shawl but lovely.

Gorgeous. It could be a nice doilie for the winter on your table, or chain some together to make a table runner. Just an idea or two. 🙂

I like the table runner idea. I tried to use Snowcatchers idea and stiffened it and hang it up as an ornament. My glue wasn’t right so I had to reapply it several times but it came out in the end.
