Tis the Season

Regardless of your religion, or even if you don’t have one, it’s “the season of giving”. It’s that one time of year where we remember that despite our problems there are others who have it worse. It’s the time of year where we remember that it feels good to give to someone else. We remember the joy of giving and making someone happy that we tend to forget about as the new year soon swamps us with trials.

This year my charity of choice is Snowball Express.

Snowball Express is a charity that is dedicated to helping the children of military members who have died on active duty since 9/11 create new happy memories.

Best of all my favorite coffee company Green Beans Coffee is a sponsor. I can buy a bag of great coffee and a mug plus help out people who deserve it.

Sometimes it might seem as if I only support the American Military but that’s not true. While I do support the military that has provided for my family for generations I support all military members. Being a solider is not about politics, it’s about providing for your family despite the political climate.  You could venomously hate your government and still be solider because you love your country and it’s people.

Regardless of your country or your branch of service I wish all military members and their families a happy and safe Christmas this year.
