Moon Socks

When Christmas was here part of my present wasn’t just yarn but a challenge. My husband scanned Garn Studios for patterns I might like and only bought me yarn for the two patterns he picked.

I finally got through enough of my queued projects to make it to the moon socks. Instead of the double pointed needle technique (which would have required me to buy double pointed needles and figure out how to use them) I used the magic loop method.

Not too bad for a first try; though nowhere near as good as I want them to be. I’m better at crochet then knitting but on the upside I have enough yarn that if I use one strand instead of two held together I can make more for practice. 😀
