Lets Get Ready To Scrumble!

You knew it, I knew it, it was only a matter of time before I tackled scrumble. Scrumble, or freeform crochet, is where you just let your fingers do the talking. There is no set method to your madness; you can combine it with freeform knitting if you want. You can have an idea of what you want to do or just make it up as you go along.

For me it’s  great way to use leftover yarn. I hate waste! Plus I don’t have to think about a pattern. You can find videos and blogs lying around giving vague instruction on what it is and what to do.

For now I’ve made a few pieces that I have no idea what to do with. I’ll figure it out eventually. I think I’ll save these pieces until I figure something out. Maybe a scarf? A scrumble hat might be nice… If all else fails maybe I can start an Etsy shop and sell random scrumble pieces others can figure out what to do with?

  1. This is a great idea, I guess you could join random pieces together to make a unique scarf.

I ended up turning one into a bracelet and another into a collar. I’ll have to share those in another post 🙂 The white one is slowly being turned into a hat.
