Paper Love

This month my son’s art class worked with paper as a medium. My son is convinced he wants to be an artist when he grows up. While I encourage his choice I’m also pushing for him to do something on the side. Maybe a job that incorporates art into it? Architect, engineer, advertisement?

One thing I thought he might like to learn when he’s older is welding. A valuable trade and he could make metallic sculptures. My son was in Bisbee, AZ with me when I went to visit with a friend and fell in love with the bugs, dinosaurs and other metallic wonders he found.

I don’t think these are too bad for a ten year old.
