Muffs Keep Your Hands Warm.

Okay, get your head outta the gutter. The muffs we’re talking about today are fashion accessories. Or in my son’s case a ‘cast’.

Yarn: Lion brand’s fun fur 1 ball and 1 ball of wool

Hook: 6mm

Gauge: Not essential

Row 1: Ch 30 sts of the fur and join in a round

Row 2: Dc in each st. (30 per row) Continue around until the piece measures 24 inches.

Row 3: Join the wool to the last st beginning a new row with it.

Row 4: Dc until this piece matches the length of the fur. 24″

Bind off (or be careful not to unravel your work when you fold the muff) At this point you should have a long tube.  Grip the end and pull it through to fold it in half. Use your leftover yarn to stitch the to sides together.

Originally I had intended to make this for me. Apparently it makes a really good cast though and he kept stealing it. Eventually I gave up trying to get it back. He’s such a ham. 😀
