Museum and Minerals

Our ‘local’ museum had a mineral and rock show roll into town. Nate adores rocks of any kind so we decided to surprise him with going up there. The two plus hour drive was worth it to see his face light up when he realized there were minerals and rocks galore.

My husband and I were surprised with the size of the museum. We  both thought it was a small indoor one. Apparently it has a few small exhibits; like a two room aquarium, a few local animals, a cactus garden, and more. It was still small compared with what we were used to but bigger than we were expecting.

Here’s a few of the better pics I took. As always I own the copyright to the pictures. They may be used for private use only!
