Yarn Bombing the Lazy Way

So we dyed the yarn…

I still had no idea what to do with it!

At first I was going to work up a dense square of it and hang it along the adjoining fence. My neighbor’s dogs are mean and have attacked my dog on one occasion and tried to bite me and Nate on several. So I though why not yarn bomb the joining fence, if they can’t see us maybe they’ll forget we exist?

The problem with this is that I had to do something that could be hung quickly. I didn’t want to have the dogs let out while I was still within biting range. I also realized that even if I did work up a square I didn’t have enough yarn I disliked to make enough to cover the fence.

So need gave birth to this:

Yarn Bombing the lazy way. 😉

It worked up quickly and actually doesn’t look too bad.

Sorry about the lighting! As I’ve said before I suck at taking pictures.

The dogs can still see us but it’ll be harder to bite us through those panels. We’ll still be careful and keep away from the fence but I like the illusion of safety. And remember most places consider yarn bombing vandalism so make sure you bomb your own stuff. 😉
